The Story
Abbie and Dean’s wedding at Cliff House in Salcombe was an incredibly special day to capture. Set above the beautiful Devon coastline, Salcombe holds a much deeper meaning for Abbie and her family. It was a place her mum brought her to when she was a child, creating memories that Abbie has carried with her ever since. After sadly losing her mum, her ashes were scattered in the waters of Salcombe, making this beautiful part of the coast an incredibly precious and meaningful place for Abbie. Celebrating Abbie and Dean’s wedding here on 27th June 2026 made the day feel even more significant. Surrounded by the people they love, with the sea and coastline forming the backdrop to their celebration, it was a day filled with emotion, laughter and genuine moments — and a story we felt truly privileged to capture.
The Setting
Cliff House, Salcombe
Cliff House in Salcombe is a truly beautiful coastal wedding venue, overlooking the water and surrounded by the incredible scenery of the Devon coastline. With its elegant character, open views across the estuary and relaxed seaside atmosphere, it created the perfect setting for Abbie and Dean’s celebration. Salcombe also holds a very special place in Abbie’s family history, making the location even more meaningful to the couple. With the water, coastline and boats forming the backdrop throughout the day, it gave us endless opportunities to capture some truly beautiful and cinematic moments.
